Live Music: Snapper Head and Friends / The Music Of Woodstock

NOTE: This program will take place at the Sousa Bandshell at Sunset Park on lower Main Street.Snapper Head are a local Manhasset-based band. Their performance at the Sousa Bandshell will be comprised of the songs which made the Woodstock Music and Arts Fair of 1969 the phenomenon that it was. Every song in the set was performed at Woodstock, by legendary artists like The Band, Richie Havens, Joe Cocker, Santana, The Grateful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Joan Baez and many more. Special guests Raffi Froundjian, Briana and John Byrnes will make this a diverse evening of music to be remembered for a long time. And just like the memories of that Summer weekend in 1969, this might just help to keep us all warm through the coming Fall and Winter months!
