To commemorate the launch of the library’s new lending LP collection, Tony Traguardo presents an entertaining and informative multimedia look at the history of the popular 12” vinyl marvel which has offered music fans decades of delight; 33⅓ revolutions per minute at a time. Tony will also have examples on hand of some of the most interesting and fun record packages of the past 50 years. The continual yearly uptick in sales, and the increase in the number of ‘mom-and-pop’ and ‘big box’ stores selling records, proves the old adage “everything old is new again”! Come and celebrate the resurgence of the LP with us.
