Program Description

Event Details

Natural habitats diverse in animals and plants are key to addressing climate change and the resulting mass extinction crisis. Join us (in-person) from 6:30 to 7:00 when members of the Port Washington Coalition for Biodiversity will have a tabling event prior to the panel discussion which will begin at 7:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: The Zoom will begin at 7:00 pm for the panel discussion portion of the program.

The Port Washington Coalition for Biodiversity unites local organizations that safeguard the majority of Port Washington’s wilderness. A distinguished group of panelists will present the work they do in the face of increasing challenges brought about by climate change.  They will also discuss actionable strategies that can be employed to maintain or increase biodiversity and mitigate the effects of climate change to build a more resilient Port Washington.

Sponsored by Transition Town Port Washington.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a 'hybrid' event that can be attended either "In-Person" or "Online" on the Zoom platform. You can choose which option you wish to register for below in the "Do you want to attend in-person or online?" dropdown menu below.
