SoundSwap: Long Islanders 'The Rocky River Boys' Play Live!

Karl Blessing and Chris Ivers come from wildly divergent, yet closely related, musical scenes, though both are steeped in the music of Bob Dylan and The Band. Chris was already an accomplished guitarist before he took up the mandolin while holed up during COVID. Karl has been a solo performer, member of a few bands (and more than a few duos); playing music ranging from 'jam band' to 'Gulf and Western'. As a devotee of both the acoustic guitar and classic singer singer-songwriters, he fancies himself as a songwriter as well.

With their combined 80 years of musical experience and vast song base, the duo bounces around from the Allman Brothers to Jimmy Buffett, and from the Grateful Dead to the Rolling Stones. Overall, the Rocky River Boys are just plain fun! So, come on down and share an afternoon with this unique duo!
