The Alegria Ensemble, led by violinist Chlöe Dickens returns to the Port Washington Library with an engaging program of String Quartets composed by members of the Long Island Composers' Alliance.  LICA is an organization of professional composers who live and work on Long Island and whose music has been performed around the world.  There will be music by Joel Mandelbaum, George "Cork" Maul, Edward Smaldone, Catherine Neville, Kyle Miller and Matthew Baier. The composers will be on hand to speak about their pieces.  The Alegria String Quartet consists of Chlöe Dickens and Concetta Abbate, violins, Teddy Froelich, viola and Katie Chambers, cello.
