Halloween Horrors: "The Uninvited"

(2008-87 min.). Teenaged Anna (Emily Browning) is institutionalized after witnessing her mother’s fiery death. Recovered but still fragile, she returns home to her sister Alex (Arielle Rebbel), her father Stephen (David Strathairn) and her father’s new girlfriend, Rachel (Elizabeth Banks). When a ghostly apparition points her finger in Rachel’s direction, Anna and Alex begin to suspect that Rachel murdered their mother. Craig Rosenberg, Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard scripted this English-language adaptation of the Korean horror film "A Tale of Two Sisters" for directors Thomas and Charles Guard.
