Halloween Horrors: "Pet Sematary" (2019-100 min.)

Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) and his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) relocate with their two young children from Boston to rural Maine. The couple soon discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near their new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his neighbor Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous series of events that unleashes an unspeakable evil with horrific consequences. Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer co-directed this remake of the 1989 Stephen King adaptation, which was scripted by Jeff Buhler and Matt Greenburg. Laurie Rose was the cameraman and Christopher Young the composer. Also in the cast: Jete Laurence as Ellie, Obssa Ahmed as Victor, Alyssa Brooke Levine as Zelda, and Hugo and Lucas Lavoie as Gage.
