The Great Give Back

The mission of The Great Give Back is to provide a day of opportunities for library patrons to participate in meaningful service-oriented experiences. In honor of The Great Give Back, Port Teens (grades 7-12) are invited to make get well cards for children that are in the hospital and could use a little cheer. All cards will be given to The Little St. Nick Foundation and will be included in the special bags the foundation delivers to children in the hospital. Teens will receive 1 hour of community service for 5 cards or 10 cards for 2 hours. Cards should be delivered to TeenSpace by October 16. Paper, colored pencils will be available in TeenSpace all week long or teens may create their cards at home and deliver them to TeenSpace. Registration begins October 11.
