FOL University, the Friends of the Library’s scholarly lecture series, will feature John McWhorter, bestselling author, Professor of Linguistics at Columbia University, and a New York Times columnist. Dr. McWhorter will speak about his new book Pronoun Trouble: The Story of Us in Seven Little Words.  With his trademark humor and flair, Dr. McWhorter busts the myths and shares the history of the most controversial language topic of our times: pronouns. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
