FOL University, the Friends of the Library’s lecture program featuring notable scholars and university professors, returns Sunday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. with two timely and fascinating topics. Dr. Charles A. Riley II, newly named director of the Nassau County Museum of Art, will lecture on Fitzgerald and the Jazz Age, and will speak on his new book, Words on the Move: Why English Won’t – and Can’t – Sit Still. Daniel Paisner has authored autobiographies and memoirs, including fifteen New York Times bestsellers, of some of our best-known actors, athletes, politicians, television personalities and “ordinary” individuals who have managed to conquer extraordinary situations. He will be discussing his work, "The Art of Ghostwriting." Refreshments will be served.
