Film: "The Wanderers"

(1979-117 min.). In the Bronx in 1963, high school seniors Richie, Joey and Perry (Ken Wahl, John Friedrich, Tony Ganios) run with the Wanderers and rumble with the Fordam Baldies, the Del Bombers and the Ducky Boys. Director Philip Kaufman scripted with his wife Rose Kaufman, from the novel by Richard Price, who appears in a cameo. The supporting cast includes Karen Allen as Nina, Erland van Lidth as the giant called Terror and Linda Manz as terror’s diminutive pal, Peewee.
