Event Details

"Memory House" (2020-87 min.). Cristovam (Antonio Pitanga), an indigenous Black man from Brazil's rural North, moves to an industrialized Southern town populated by the descendants of Austrian expats. Director Jao Paulo Miranda Maria scripted with Felipe Sholl. Up first, Miranda Maria's short, "The Girl Who Danced with the Devil" (2016-15 min.). Both films are subtitled.
