Film: "The Last Station"

In honor of his newly created religion, Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy (Oscar nominee Christopher Plummer) renounces his title, property and family in favor of poverty and celibacy -- much to the outrage of Countess Sofya (Oscar nominee Helen Mirren), his wife of fifty years. Director Michael Hoffman also scripted, from Jay Parini's novel.
