Rachel Perkin's drama is a coming-of-age story about Charlie Bucktin (Levi Miller), a bookish 14-year-old whose life is changed forever when Jasper Jones (Aron L. McGrath), the town's mixed-race outcast, shows him the dead body of young Laura Wishart. Our screening will begin with Francesca Reverdito and Riccardo Berasconi's short, Death for a Unicorn (2013-15 min.), in which a boy meets a phantom. A Film Movement release.
