Film: "Five Days One Summer" (1982-108 min.).

Arriving at a Swiss chalet for a mountain-climbing vacation, middle-aged doctor Douglas Meredith (Sean Connery) is accompanied by Kate (Betsy Brantley), a young woman posing as his wife. This uncomfortable situation comes to a head when their guide, Johann (Lambert Wilson), finds himself attracted to Kate. Michael Austin scripted, from Kay Boyle's short story, "Maiden, Maiden," for producer/director Fred Zinnemann.
