In Nazi-occupied Austria, Dr. Josef Bartok (Oliver Masucci) is locked in solitary confinement, where he turns to a book of famous chess matches to preserve his sanity. Eldar Grigorian scripted, from Stefan Zweig's novel, for director Philipp Stölzl. Up first, "Der Tunnel" ("The Tunnel") (2017-10 min) from writers, producers and directors Christoph Daniel and Marc Schmidheiny. Both films are in German with English subtitles.
