Although Irishmen Padraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson) have been lifelong pals and drinking buddies, they find themselves at an impasse when Colm abruptly ends their friendship, with no explanation given. Martin McDonagh ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missoouri") scripted, produced and directed this melancholy comedy-drama, which also stars Kerry Condon as Padraic's sister Siobhan and Barry Kegghan as his simple-minded friend Dominic.
