This year's summer reading theme, "The Adventure Begins in Your Library," takes us to far away lands where we can enjoy adventures out at sea with buccaneers, pirates and hidden treasure.
All are invited to celebrate the adventure with a special screening of Goonies (1985 - 114 min.) which follows a band of small heroes who find a mysterious treasure map which sends them on a swashbuckling adventure with surprises around every turn. From the imagination of Stephen Spielberg, this film stars Sean Astin, and Josh Brolin and was directed by Richard Donner.
