SoundSwap: 'Shindig!' Live Musical Performance

The Long Island-based band 'Shindig!' will officially celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special concert event at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame on Sunday, August 18th. But you can enjoy this band's unique blend of originals and covers from the 60s, 70s and 80s at this special 'warm-up'/rehearsal show at the Port Washington Public Library!

The library's own Tony Traguardo will be joined by original 'Shindig!' members Steve Leunig, John Keating, Barry Fisch and Janet Grunwald. On drums, sitting in for long-time drummer Karl Schmitt, will be Harvey Levine.

Please note that since this is a 'public rehearsal', mistakes will be made, songs may be played twice... and fun will ensue!
