Film historian and librarian Philip Harwood discusses Delmer Daves's "The Red House" (1947), which is available on Kanopy. A crippled farmer (Edward G. Robinson) and his sister (Judith Anderson) are concealing a terrible secret from their adoptive daughter, concerning a hidden, abandoned farmhouse.
