Rescheduled from March. Film historian and librarian Philip Harwood will discuss the 1957 "Playhouse 90" broadcast "The Comedian," which is available to view on YouTube. Mickey Rooney stars as a lecherous television comedian who tears down everyone around him, including his head writer (Edmind O'Brien) and his brother (Mel Torme). Rod Serling scripted, from Ernest Lehman's novella, for director John Frankenheimer.

This virtual program will begin at 7:00 p.m.with a short 10 minute introduction by Phillip Harwood on Zoom.
