Event Details

Film expert John Bosco will screen "Lorna’s Silence" (2008-105 min.). Lorna (Arta Doboshi), a young Albanian woman, dreams of opening up a snack bar with her boyfriend. To supply the money, she enters into a plan to marry a drug addict (Jeremie Renier) to earn Belgian citizenship, and then to marry a Russian mobster to win him citizenship. Belgian brothers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne scripted and directed. In French with English subtitles.
