Cop Film Double Bill

We begin with Richard Fleischer’s adaptation of Joseph Wambaugh’s The New Centurions (1972-103 min.), in which veteran officer George C. Scott and rookie Stacy Keach patrol a dangerous Los Angeles ghetto. After a brief intermission, Burt Reynolds, Jack Weston, Tom Skerritt, Raquel Welch and Yul Brynner star in Richard A. Colla’s Fuzz (1972-93 min.). Evan Hunter scripted this comedy, from a novel he wrote under his pen name Ed McBain.
