Event Details
This two-hour workshop will provide students and parents with an understanding of the cognitive and non-cognitive factors of the college process, and how to best support students as they navigate through high school and prepare for the application season in senior year. This includes the importance of the course selection process in grades 9-12, demonstrating rigor, academic performance, character building, the essay, etc. The five components of the college process will be reviewed. This workshop is ideal for families who want to get a head start of understanding how to best plan for the future, and/or for parents who might need some additional tips to support their senior students. This event is made possible by the Friends of the Library.
