Join us for this Q&A session with a college disability services professional who will answer your disability related questions and provide you with answers from the college administration’s perspective.  Questions such as, “How do I request reasonable accommodations in college? Will I have the same accommodations in college as I had in HS? What are some examples of reasonable accommodations in college?  If my request is denied, what recourse do I have? How do I tell my professors that I have accommodations?  To whom at the college do I disclose my disability? Is there a time limit to disclose?  Is my disability status part of my college record? Are my HS accommodations communicated to the College?  How do I advocate for myself? In college, what are my responsibilities related to my accommodations?”  This session will be geared towards high school seniors and their parents.  Registration begins April 5 at PWPL.org/teens beginning April 5.
