Behind the Archive

Please join us as we launch the Pete Fornatale Collection on the anniversary of his birthday! For nearly five decades Port Washington's own Pete Fornatale was an award-winning broadcaster, author, music historian and humanitarian whose voice resonated across New York's radio airwaves.

Event highlights will include a behind-the-scenes look with Archivist Vanessa Nastro and Tony Traguardo at how the archive came together, a display of some of the artifacts and a musical performance by Aztec Two-Step, one of Pete's favorite musical acts.
