Beginner Guitar Lessons

Learn beginner-level acoustic guitar! A free series of three one-hour classes. You’ll learn: well-known songs; not required to read traditional music notes; songs played one note at a time and others with full chord sequences. Requirements are to: bring your own acoustic guitar; know how to hold a guitar pick; be able to play single notes. Lessons are for the “somewhat experienced beginner” (don’t worry, we’re flexible). Because each lesson will pick up where the previous one left off, it is required that you register for all three classes. Port Washington patrons only. Participants must be 14 or older.
