An unflinching and endearing memoir from LGBTQ+ advocate and YouTube creator Jackson Bird about how, through a childhood of gender mishaps and an awkward adolescence, he finally sorted things out and came out as a transgender man in his mid-twenties. Jackson's TED Talk "How to talk (and listen) to transgender people" has been viewed over a million times. We welcome Giovanni (Gio) Giampietro, TGNCNB Outreach Coordinator and Kerrie O’Neill, Vice President of Community Engagement & Partnerships of LGBT Network to co-moderate a discussion with Jackson.
On-site book sales will be conducted by Dolphin Book Shop.
