Artist in residence, Beverly Crilly, will discuss her exhibit "Place" currently on display in the Library's Adler Art Gallery.  Each of Beverly Crilly’s works is a journey, built in layers – full of contradictions, clean slates, experiments, memories, truths and stories. Oil paints and bars create wonderfully saturated color fields and marks, which are the groundwork of her pieces. Layers of color, texture, and grit masks, reveals, and adds dimension and depth to these initial statements. Poured solvents dissolve layers to reveal glimpses of what was vs. what remains.

Join Ms. Crilly as she discusses her creative process and use of unique medium and materials. Her work will be on display in the Adler Gallery from January 3rd to February 27th.  (Please note this is an in-person only event)
