In appreciation of Women’s History Month, join museum educator Alice W, Schwarz in an exploration of the vivid portraits and history paintings of the most celebrated female painter of the 17th century, Artemisia Gentileschi. Her work is provocative, dramatic, and celebrates powerful heroines from around the world.  This program is part of an on-going series about 17th Century painters.  (Sponsored by the Friends of the Library)
