Celebrate Women’s History Month with the works of French artist Adelaide Labille-Guiard. With the French Revolution as a backdrop, Labille-Guiard became one of the few women artists allowed into the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture and an advocate of female painters. Join Alice W. Schwarz, museum educator, to explore the portraits, both large and small of this non-conformist artist of the 18th century.
