As part of the Library's celebration of Black History Month, we invite you to spend an afternoon with Award Winning director Stephen Nachamie as he takes a look at the work of Sidney Poitier and his groundbreaking performance in A Raisin in the Sun. We will explore the current season and the stunning productions of Caroline or Change, Alice Childress’ legendary play Trouble in Mind and the upcoming A Strange Loop. We will celebrate the creators, actors and artists behind these and other recent productions.

Please note that this will be a hybrid event. Participants are invited to join us in person or via zoom.
