Celebrating 70 Years of Rogers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific

Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, South Pacific, Dr. James J. Kolb returns to discuss the work and share audio and video excerpts from several productions, including archival footage of original stars Mary Martin and Ezio Pinza. Audience members will enjoy learning about the history of the musical interspersed with some of musical history’s most memorable songs including Some Enchanted Evening, I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair, Carefully Taught, and Happy Talk.
