University Art Collections: Smith College Museum of Art

Located in Northampton Massachusetts, the museum was founded in 1879. Currently, it has close to 25,000 works of art representing a wide range of eras and cultures. Their collection of European paintings is particularly strong in 19th century French art and includes unusual works by Corbet and Degas. Join Art Historian Marc Kopman for the illustrated lecture. AAC
